Update v6.11 Improvements List
General
01- The new DecoTech Main Folders Merger Utility application is now included by default.
For more details, see topic #16 in the Tech Support/Tips Spot sub-section.
02- Fixed a minor bug with the installation application and with the update application.
The indicator variable used to know when a new update is available is now properly reset.

 

Update v6.09 Improvements List
General
01- All the DecoTech applications have been recompiled and are now aware of the User Account Control (UAC) feature introduced in Windows Vista and Windows 7.  That will disable once for all the messy and annoying Windows virtualization security patch for non aware applications.
02- All the DecoTech help files have been converted from ".hlp" format into ".chm" format so they can now be viewed by the "hh.exe" application instead of the "winhlp32.exe" application.  Microsoft has decided to no more included by default their "winhlp32.exe" application within their Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.
03- Now support printer with very long name.  DecoTech no more truncates the printer name to 31 characters as indicated in the early Windows programming documentation.
04- A patch has been added to avoid poorly implemented printer driver software to print a black rectangle instead of the desired image.
05- Latest Hasp HL (hardlock) driver released by the manufacturer (DecoTech Pro only).

Update v6.07 Improvements List
General
01- Fix a minor bug concerning the multiple printing preferences files support for shared DecoTech over a local area network.  In this very specific case, the printing preferences were not saved.  (This feature has been added in version 6.01 and the bug has been accidentally introduced in version 6.06.)

Update v6.02 Improvements List
General
01- Correction of the installation speed trouble of the Library Installer (libinst.exe) application.
02- Correction of the installation speed trouble of the downloadable auto-install applications.
03- Correction of the installation speed trouble of the Setup (dt_su.exe) application.

This installation speed trouble was happening only when the operating system was a recent Windows XP version.  It was not happening on the first releases of Windows XP as on other operating systems prior or after Windows XP.
